BOOKING POLICY

To ensure your pleasant stay, The Good House applies the terms and conditions below, which are the contract between Guests and the Guest House, under which Guests are allowed to use the rooms and adjoining areas.

By making a reservation or staying at the guesthouse, you expressly agree to the terms and conditions presented below.

 

RESERVATIONS:

Reservations require full payment of the accommodation services, by bank transfer, within 5 days based on the proforma you will receive by email or Whatsapp after the booking is completed. Reservations are considered guaranteed only when payment is confirmed.

The minimum stay is 2 nights.

RATES:

Applicable fees are as shown in the offer you will receive and are related to accommodation only. All rates are per night and include breakfast. They do not include additional costs for other services available at an extra cost.

Any change to your booking may result in a change of costs.

Rates are subject to change at any time. However, rate increases do not affect reservations already confirmed, except in the case of tax increases (e.g. VAT).

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Free cancellation of the reservation is possible at least 7 days before arrival.

Cancellation of a reservation between 6 and 4 days before the start of the stay, attracts a penalty equivalent to the entire value of the services related to the first night of accommodation. There is the possibility to convert the total cost of the reservation into a voucher valid for 6 months.

In case of cancellation less than 3 days before the start of the stay or in case of no-show, the total cost of the reservation is retained in full.

If a guest chooses to vacate the room before the deadline stipulated in the reservation,  The Good House has no obligation to partially refund the price paid.

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for justified reasons, with the obligation to return the amounts paid in advance.

In cases of FORCE MAJEURE (including but not limited to epidemics, fire, flood, earthquake, war) the impossibility of making the stay does not entail the return of the advance paid. This is transformed into a voucher that the customer can use within 12 months from the moment of cancellation. The voucher is valid within the limit of availability.

 

POLICY REGARDING CHILDREN

Children between the ages of 0 and 3 are considered infants and can stay free with their parents.

Duplex:

A child between the ages of 4 and 10 - 40 lei/night

Studio:

A child aged between 4 - 10 years - free

Apartment:

Two children aged 4 - 10 years - free

Please take into account the possibility of having to provide proof of the children's age at the location.

 

THE PAYMENT:

For reservations, our location only accepts payment by bank transfer based on a payment order that you will receive at the time of booking or online card payment directly on the website.

We do not process vouchers, cards/holiday tickets.

 

CHECK IN:

Between 15:00 - 19:00

After 19:00 there is the possibility of self check in, only if you let us know in advance the arrival hour.

Please present your identity document (identity card, passport, temporary or permanent residence permit, etc.) when completing the check-in formalities or fill in the information from the online check-in form, which you can receive by email/ phone.

Please take into account the possibility of having to provide proof of the children's age at the location.

 

CHECK OUT:

11:00

If the room is not occupied on the day of departure, we are more than happy to offer you the possibility of late check out, at no extra cost (maximum 3:00 p.m.)

 

PARKING

Parking is possible at the property, within the limits of available spaces. Parking is at your own risk. Parking is not reserved. Although we take all precautions, we do not assume responsibility in case of theft or damage.

 

LUGGAGE STORAGE:

Subject to storage space availability, guests may store their luggage in the storage room at their own risk of loss or damage for any reason. Luggage cannot be stored for more than 1 day.

 

PET POLICY:

Pets are not allowed in the location. 

The Good House has the right to refuse accommodation to guests accompanied by pets under the penalty of canceling the reservation and paying a penalty equivalent to the full value of the services related to the first night of accommodation.

 

RESPONSIBILITY OF GUESTS/ RULES OF CONDUCT:

The guest undertakes to behave decently and not to cause discomfort or loud noises inside the guesthouse

It is forbidden to wear street shoes in the rooms and in the common spaces inside, on beds or sofas.

The guest assumes full responsibility for any type of accident (slipping on the stairs, breaking windows, , etc.), including those of his minor children or the damage caused by them, the guesthouse having no responsibility in this sense.

The guests have the obligation to supervise, throughout the stay, the children and not to leave them alone in the presence of the dogs from The Good House.

The following activities are also prohibited inside the guesthouse:

- removing objects from the rooms and move them outside;

- excessive alcohol consumption or drug consumption;

- the use of own audio systems (including portable speakers, high volume on the phone, etc.)

- the use of the barbecue, the place for the campfire, the fireplace, without the consent and instruction of a member of The Good House;

- access to the kitchen for food preparation.

The client is liable to the boarding house for damages caused, through fault or intent, to other clients or to the staff, buildings, furniture and equipment of the boarding house;

The guesthouse reserves the right to select its clients.

 

COMPLAINTS:

Complaints regarding the quality of the services offered will be made on the spot or during the guests' stay at the hotel. Complaints made after the end of the stay will not be taken into account by the Hotel.

Claims for damage caused by theft, destruction or damage to property brought by the guest to the guesthouse must be brought to the attention of a member of The Good House within 24 hours of the date on which the fact was discovered.

 

FINAL PROVISIONS:

IMPORTANT!  When you have made the reservation in any form of the accommodation services, it is considered that you have read and agree with the payment methods, the cancellation policy and the operating regulations of the accommodation unit.

The guesthouse policy can be changed without prior notification.
